Titan Learning ("Titan Learning," "we," "us") provides skilled-trades curriculum, a learning platform, and virtual skills labs to trade schools and employers. This policy explains what we collect from visitors to titanlearning.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us
When you book a walkthrough, request the program catalog, or open one of our skills labs, we collect what you type into the form. That is typically your name, work email address, the school or company you work for, what brought you to us, and, if you choose to give it, your mobile phone number.
Information from the skills labs
If you run one of our virtual labs on this site, the lab reports your progress back to us the same way it would inside a course: which step you reached, the score you were carrying, whether you passed the mastery threshold, and how long you spent. We tie that to the contact information you submitted so that the person who follows up knows what you actually saw.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we log standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and the dates and times of those visits. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising trackers or sell audience data.
How we use it
- To respond to you. Answering your question, scheduling the walkthrough you asked for, sending the catalog or score report you requested.
- To run the labs. Recording your progress and score so we can show you your own results.
- To improve the site and the programs. Understanding which pages and labs are working and which are not.
- To send you information about Titan Learning that is relevant to the reason you contacted us, by email or, only if you separately agreed to it, by text message.
- To meet legal and contractual obligations, including records we are required to keep for state education agencies on behalf of partner schools.
Text messaging (SMS)
We send text messages only to people who have separately and affirmatively agreed to receive them, by checking an unchecked consent box on one of our forms or by texting us first. Agreeing to receive text messages is never a condition of booking a walkthrough, running a lab, or buying anything from us.
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or your SMS consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.
Mobile opt-in information and consent are used solely to deliver the messages you asked for. Where we use a messaging provider to transmit those messages on our behalf, that provider is contractually restricted to processing the information for that purpose alone and may not use it for its own marketing.
What the messages are
Messages relate to the walkthrough or demo you requested, your skills lab results, and occasional program updates. Message frequency varies and is typically fewer than six messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping messages
Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. We will send one confirmation and then stop. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 800-485-7986. Full program details are in our SMS terms.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding twelve months.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent they need it to do their job for us:
- Our customer relationship platform, which stores your contact record and sends the emails and texts you asked for.
- Our website host, which serves this site and its labs.
- Our analytics providers, which report aggregate usage of the site.
- Our learning platform, if you become a partner and we set up accounts for you or your students.
Each of these is bound by contract to use the information only to provide the service to us. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Partner school and student data
When a school or employer licenses a Titan Learning program, we process records about their enrolled students — enrollment, progress, quiz and lab scores, completions, and credential attempts — on that organization's behalf and under its direction. The partner organization, not Titan Learning, controls those records and decides who may see them. We use them to operate the program and to produce the reports and state documentation the partner needs. We do not use student records to market to students, and we do not sell training directly to students under any circumstances. Students or their parents who want to see, correct, or delete a record should contact their school, which can direct us.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. You can unsubscribe from email at the bottom of any message, and stop texts by replying STOP. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request for you; we will ask for proof of that authority. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
How long we keep it
We keep prospect contact records for as long as we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward, and we delete or anonymize them on request. Records we maintain on behalf of a partner school are kept according to that school's instructions and the retention periods its state agency requires.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor agreements to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and we keep the amount of personal information we collect deliberately small.
Children
This website is intended for school and employer administrators, not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through this site. Some partner programs enroll students who are 16 or 17; those records are handled under the partner section above, at the direction of the school, not through this website.
