Terms of use and SMS terms
SMS program terms
Program name: Titan Learning notifications.
Program description. Titan Learning sends text messages to people who have asked to hear from us: confirmations and reminders for a walkthrough you booked, your skills lab results, answers to a question you sent us, and occasional updates about our programs.
How you join
You join by checking the unchecked consent box on a Titan Learning form and providing your mobile number, or by texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of access to any part of this site, including the skills labs. By opting in you confirm that you are the subscriber of the number you gave us or are authorized to consent for it.
Message frequency and cost
- Message frequency varies, and is typically fewer than six messages per month.
- Message and data rates may apply. Those charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us, and depend on your plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. You will get one confirmation message and then no further messages. To rejoin, opt in again on a form or text us.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, email us, or call 800-485-7986 and a person will answer.
Carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed. Supported carriers may change without notice.
Privacy
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or your SMS consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our privacy policy for the full description of what we collect and how we use it.
Using this website
You may use this site to learn about Titan Learning and to evaluate our programs. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, access areas you have not been given access to, scrape it at volume, or use it to break the law.
The skills labs
The virtual skills labs on this site are provided so you can evaluate our product. They are the same labs our partner schools run, and they are simulations. Completing a lab here does not confer a certificate, a credential, credit hours, or any qualification, and it is not a substitute for supervised hands-on training, employer procedure, or manufacturer instructions. Anything you do in a lab is an evaluation activity, not training of record.
The labs run in your browser and are intended for a desktop or laptop. Performance depends on your hardware and connection.
Our content
The curriculum, simulations, written material, graphics, and the Titan Learning name and marks on this site belong to us or our licensors. Partner schools receive a license to use the programs under their own program name as set out in their written agreement with us. Nothing on this page grants a license.
Disclaimers and limits
This site and the evaluation labs are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent permitted by law, Titan Learning is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the evaluation labs. Nothing here limits the commitments in a signed partner agreement, which governs the relationship with our partner schools and employers.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
